Description

Rilmazafone or brand name Rhythmy is a sedative and hypnotic drug developed in Japan, which is metabolized into benzodiazepine metabolites.
Structurally, rilmazafone is not a benzodiazepine because it has no benzene ring connected to the diazepine ring and is not classified as a benzodiazepine in many countries. Only once in the body is it metabolized to the active benzodiazepine, the active metabolite 8-chloro-6-(2-chlorophenyl)-N,N-dimethyl-4H-1,2,4-triazolo [1,5-a][1,4]benzodiazepine-2-carboxamide, which already contains the benzodiazepine ring structure.
This drug is intended to be studied and tested only in specially equipped laboratories.
