Description
Dipyanone is an opioid analgesic, a designer drug with similar properties to opioid analgesics that were originally developed for treating opioid addiction, such as dipipanone, methadone, and phenadoxone. This drug is very effective as a substitute for the analgesic morphine when the latter is contraindicated. Structurally, dipyanone is an analogue of dipipanone, which combined with cyclizine (Diconal, Wellconal), reduces side effects such as vomiting and releases histamine.
