Description
3-Methylmethcathinone or 3-MMC, also called metaphedrone the designer drug cathinone, a family of substituted cathinones. 3-MMC is synthesized as a substitute for 4-MMC (mephedrone) and has a similar chemical structure, or rather a structural isomer. Studies on mice showed that 3-MMC is a monoamine transporter substrate, effectively inhibits norepinephrine uptake, and exhibits marked dopaminergic activity. This drug is banned in Germany and the UK.
