para-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237 (or 4′-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237, p-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237) is an opioid drug metabolite of 2-methyl AP-237, AP-237(used in Asia as an opioid analgesic to treat cancer patients), with similar structure and effects.
para-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237 is a relatively new drug and has not been fully studied, so there is little data on its toxicological and pharmacological properties.
According to in vitro studies, para-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237 affects mu-opioid receptors and is approximately equal to morphine in terms of potency, has analgesic properties, causes sedation and relaxation, euphoria.
Regular use of para-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237 may lead to gradual tolerance to the drug.
para-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237 is intended for research, forensic and scientific purposes.
para-hydroxy 2-methyl AP-237 may not be legal in countries where analogs of AP-237 are legally controlled.
