3-Methyl-PCP(3-Me-PCP, meta-Methyl-PCP) a new designer drug dissociative, arylcyclohexylamine class. This substance is designed as a substitute for 3′-MeO-PCP and 3′-Me-PCPy and has a similar chemical structure and similar properties to them. Preparations of this class(3-Me-PCP, 3-MeO-PCP and 3-Me-PCPy ) were first synthesized in the 1960s, but have become popular these days as designer drugs for chemical research.
This drug is banned for sale in Canada, the UK and is considered a controlled substance for sale in Germany.
