α-PHiP or alpha-PIHP, also known as α-PiHP, is a drug of the cathinone class, with stimulant properties. Structurally, it is an isomer of pirovalerone (the group is shifted from the fourth position of the aromatic ring to the fourth position of the acyl chain). This prepatrate has been studied and found to have the highest efficacy in vitro as a dopamine transporter inhibitor. α-PHiP is very similar in action to MDPV and a-PVP and even provides a better effect.
This drug is banned for sale in Canada and the UK.
